Terms of Service
Our goal is to support dogs and their people with compassionate, evidence-based training that strengthens relationships and builds confidence on both ends of the leash. Before we begin training, we ask our clients to review the following Terms of Service, which outline what you can expect from us—and what we ask of you.
1. Scope of Services
Tully’s Training offers private and group dog training services and behavior consultations. Services may be provided in-home, at designated training locations, or virtually.
Tully's Training makes every reasonable effort to help achieve training and behavior modification goals, but makes no guarantee of your dog’s performance or behavior as a result of providing professional animal behavior consultation.
Your satisfaction and your dog's well-being are our top priority and we make every reasonable effort to make things right if you're unhappy for any reason.
2. Positive Reinforcement Philosophy
All training methods used by Tully’s Training are science-backed and rooted in positive reinforcement. We do not permit the use of force, fear, or punitive tools (e.g., shock collars, choke chains) in any of our sessions.
3. Scheduling and Cancellations
Private sessions must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be forfeited or incur a fee. Notice of cancellation may be given to your Trainer via phone, text, or email.
4. Refund Policy
Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the final session in the purchased program, or within 120 days of the original purchase date (whichever comes first). No refunds will be issued after this window has closed.
We are committed to your satisfaction, but due to the nature of our services:
No refunds will be issued for amounts already paid to Tully’s Training for completed training sessions.
If a Trainer is substituted for another, no refund will be provided as all our trainers are qualified, experienced professionals.
In the event of a cancellation by Tully’s Training (e.g., weather), we will offer a make-up session or alternate accommodations.
Tully’s Training holds the right to cancel the training program at its discretion and in the event that Tully’s Training needs to cancel the program, we will refund any unearned amounts for uncompleted training sessions immediately.
5. Client Responsibilities
You play an essential role in your dog’s progress! We ask that you:
Participate during sessions and commit to practicing between sessions as recommended.
Share honestly about your dog’s behavior, health, or concerns.
Follow safety instructions to ensure the well-being of everyone involved.
Understand that all members of my household must follow the Trainer’s instructions, work with your dog daily as recommended, and consistently reinforce training given by Trainer.
6. Liability
Tully’s Training takes all reasonable steps to provide a safe and healthy training environment for dogs in our training programs. I acknowledge that all dogs are trained, or otherwise handled or cared for by Tully’s Training personnel without liability on the part of Tully’s Training or its representatives for loss or damage. Tully’s Training is not liable for any veterinarian bills that might occur during training.
7. Safety and Liability
You acknowledge that:
- Training is a shared process and that behavior change takes time.
- You remain responsible for supervising your dog and managing risk at all times.
- You acknowledge that all dogs are trained, or otherwise handled or cared for by Tully’s Training personnel without liability on the part of Tully’s Training or its representatives for loss or damage.
- Tully’s Training is not liable for any veterinarian bills that might occur during training.
8. Aggression Waiver
You accept responsibility for any damages my dog may cause through malicious, aggressive, or improper behavior and agree to release Tully’s Training and hold harmless its owner(s), employee(s), and/or Independent Contractor(s) from any responsibility and/or liability for injuries or damages due to aggressive behavior.
9. Media Release
Photos or videos may be taken during sessions or classes for educational or promotional use the resulting photos or videos are the sole property of Tully’s Training. If you prefer not to have you or your dog included in any media, please let us know in writing.
10. Changes to Terms
Tully’s Training reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be notified of changes via email or on our website.
